OK the reason why Phil is asking is because James and Heather Hudson appear only in the “flashback” portion of the issue which otherwise would be taken as a regular flashback and therefore canon; however the teller of the tale is not actually Wolverine but a Skrull. Phil, it indicates that it isn’t canon but does so indirectly. It says, “Although the Skrull impostor’s story to Dugan is mostly a factual account from Wolverine’s past…”, meaning the authors explicitly discount the flashback as a story from an fraudulent source.

Does it address if the flashback parts in #144 involving AF/The Leader actually count as canon (and just written clunkilly) or if it was just a tale being woven to Dum-Dum by the skrull Wolverine?

Yes, it is possible. We can’t see what’s happening from that panel. I was just wondering if Jeffries could levitate a piece of equipment that large. I’m not sure that the limits on his ability to levitate machinery have ever been defined.

Is it possible that the three ‘wires’ coming off of the big piece of machinery are actually meant to be three cables that are holding it aloft? In which case, Jeffries is merely standing on his tippy-toes to reach up and do some adjustments on it?
